This is about a horse that is called Black Beauty. Black Beauty lived in the olden days. At first he had a friendly owner, then he was sold to a new owner and this owner didn't care for him as well as the first one did. He worked very hard every day. If he did not he would get whipped on the back and that would cut him. I thought it was a very sad story.

Hey.Im Lucy from Oamaru intermediate school and I absolutely love Black Beauty, mainly because I love horses. The first time I read it 3yrs ago I started crying. It is a great book and I'm definetly going to read it again.The movie is pretty cool too.
